Our Goals:
- Compassionate care
- Quality veterinary medicine
- Stress-free environment
- Treat each pet as if it were our own
The Chester County Cat Hospital was established in 1997 to provide compassionate and high quality feline veterinary care. Of utmost importance to us, is that we maintain a stress-free environment for the general well being of your pet. Stress can be a factor in delayed healing as well as diminished immune response in pets, as well as in people.
Another major focus of the cat hospital is preventative medicine. Many feline diseases can be detected in early stages with routine health screenings, before any visible signs appear. Our hospital is quiet, and while the surgery and lab are "high tech", boasting state of the art equipment for blood analysis, x-ray, ultrasound, etc. The exam rooms are furnished much as you would your own home.
Unlike many other animal hospitals, routine surgeries are usually performed as "out patient" procedures, and pets are sent home the same evening whenever possible. This is in accordance with our belief that your cat will be happier, and start the healing process more quickly back in familiar surroundings. To put it plainly, we want what is best for your pet!
